Pleko Rain Drain System
This modification of the Pleko Therm System has all theraindrain-pict.jpg (23758 bytes) properties that has made the Therm System the system of choice when it comes to PB Type EIFS Systems plus more. The system allows the positive drainage of incidental water that may enter the system through various penetrations on the wall.
The system has by design redundant protection from water. The primary weather barrier is the polymer modified base coat and the acrylic finish. It incorporates a self adhering rubberized membrane that seals the edges around windows and other openings. In addition it also incorporates a layer of 15# felt or 60 minute paper spread on the surface of the substrate to function as a secondary weather barrier. The back of the foam insulation board is specially configured to incorporate vertical grooves that conducts water to the bottom of the wall and to the outside.
